Photo from years gone by...
This image was scanned off of a black-and-white photocopy of the original photo. It took a lot of filtering and reshaping to get it this clear. This photo, like the next, must be pre-1948, since the "Town of Cassian" sign (cropped off the right side) appears in the original photo. What is now known as the Town of Nokomis was previously part of the Town of Cassian, until locals took matters into their own hands and split off. The dark line and spot in the lower right are likely obstructions from the car windshield. The gray diamond shape may be a bridge reflector of some type.
